Lygeia Ricciardi

Lygeia is the Founder and CEO of AdaRose, Inc. which helps employers with virtual and hybrid workforces support their employees through engaging wellness programs. She was named among the Top 30 Voices Transforming Wellness for 2023 and has previously been named among the Most Influential Women in Health IT and the 50 Most Influential Voices in Healthcare.

Lygeia has spent more than 20 years at the vanguard of the patient engagement movement in digital health, in both the public and private sectors. In the US federal government, she established and led the Office of Consumer eHeath. Previously, she helped to develop the first telehealth policies at the Federal Communications Commission. In the private sector, prior to founding AdaRose, Lygeia served as the Chief Transformation Officer at Carium, a virtual health company. She was also a Director in the Health Program at the Markle Foundation and ran her own consulting practice focused on consumer ehealth.

Lygeia is a frequent speaker and blogger and has appeared in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Consumer Reports. She holds a Masters in Technology in Education from Harvard and a BA from Wellesley College. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband, two daughters, and two Siamese cats.
